I just got my EB1A approval through the Chen group. It was a great experience working with them. They made it look easy and the whole process is very streamlined with timebound paperwork. I know friends who have opted to go with different law firms who are taking forever to write letters, in one case my friend has to write all the letters (paying the same fees). I am very pleased with the service I received from this firm. I retained this firm to file my I-140 (EB2-NIW) and found the lawyers extremely thorough and professional. The recommendation letters and the petition letter they composed were well written and they went over all my documents several times to verify everything was in order before filing.

I was hesitant when they suggested that since my case was strong enough (PhD in life sciences, with >500 citations) I only needed 2 recommendation letters (one from my current advisor and another from a Professor I’ve never worked with). Most of my friends who worked with other firms were asked to provide 4-6 recommendation letters, which slowed their filing process. However, Chen’s lawyers were right, my I-140 was approved within 4.5 months, without an issue, with just 2 recommendation letters.

My NIW case was just approved and the process from submission to approval took 5 months. After my PhD, I was working as a postdoc at a renowned medical institution in USA when I decided to give NIW a shot to free myself from all future Visa hassles.
