My NIW case was approved after 5 months. I didn’t have a strong background, as I have 5 articles only, along with less than 20 citations. I do have a software invention though. After evaluating my case in early January, Victoria said my case should not be difficult and was entitled to the North America Immigration Law Group (NAILG)’s “Approval or Refund” service, which was to my surprise. Plus, NAILG charged an extremely low attorney fee for their quality service. To be honest, from consumers’ perspective, we usually believe that the higher a service fee for such a credence good is charged, the more likely we will receive best expert service. However, unlike other immigration law groups, this is not NAILG’s philosophy; instead, NAILG charges lowest attorney fee but provides best service.

One more anecdote to share. NAILG had to arrange a new attorney to handle my case, as the original one left the group, but I didn’t notice this until they told me. Most importantly, this change of attorneys didn’t affect my case’s preparation at all. Kudos to NAILG for their outstanding service. In particular, I would like to thank the attorney handling my case, Daniel Trentacoste. Thank you so much for your hard work!
